Done, and this time, I mean it!

The Pathfinder RPG is done and out of my hands. I can't help but feel like a proud parent sending his kid off to school for the first time, nervous that he will get into trouble.

This is my first (but hopefully not last) RPG. It has consumed just about every waking moment of mine for about 18 months, most of which has gone by in a blur. In that time, I have rewritten huge parts of the game at least three times, read over 100,000 feedback posts, and put together a 576 page book containing about half a million words.

Suffice to say, I am kinda tired. Alas, there is little time for rest. I have a monster book to work on, RPG promos to write, freelance to tackle, and a host of side projects to play with. Busy times. To top it off, I have a trio of boardgame ideas that I would love to put into development, an army worth of tyranids to paint, and a secret project that I would love to get started. I need longer days.

I am hoping to post up here a bit more frequently, now that I have my life back. I have a mountain of boardgames (Small World is up tonight), videogames (Ghostbusters comes out soon), and movies to talk about (Star Trek in just one week).

More to come soon.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Fantastic milestone Jason, I mean that in all sincerity. A hearty congratulations to you and all of the Paizo staff.

Looking foward to James Cameron's film Avatar more than anything else.

Dude! Fallout 3's expansion 'Broken Steel' is out on May 5th... New level cap!

I hope few cartons of ciggies were consumed in the mammoth RPG project. :)

Glad to hear that you're happily busy as well.

Great stuff and great news!
Cheers mate!

Congrats!!!!
Well Done!
Congrats on a major, major achievement!
Congratulations!

This is the final moment of a long long project. A serious accomplishment and big milestone. Take a breath, and just think to yourself. "I did it."

Just imagine, that your "baby" will also be translated into other languages.
Imagine, that more than 40 companies have signed on to use your work as a base for their publications.

And you're right, the next thought is always... "And what comes next?"

The crunch time at the end of a big project is always so hectic, that everything else drops to the side. Take a little time and make a catalogue of what you want to accomplish on each sector, and when.

But first... get your life back *G*.
